What does this tool count?
Words are separated by whitespace. Characters include spaces and punctuation, while the no-spaces count excludes whitespace. Sentences are estimated from ending punctuation and paragraphs from non-empty lines or blocks. Reading time uses an estimated 200 words per minute.
Is my text private?
Counting happens locally in your browser. This tool does not upload your entered text to SOFTSKYE servers. Your text is saved in this browser on this device until you clear it or remove site data. Avoid entering sensitive information on shared devices.
